Congratulations! You have worked hard to reach this point and should be proud of your accomplishments. The information provided below details the process by which MSE undergraduate students apply to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University.

Application to graduate

Plan ahead. Students should apply to graduate three quarters prior to graduation. This is done by completing the Application for Baccalaureate Degree form and meeting with the MSE Academic Advisor to verify that it is correct. Please complete the form below and e-mail the MSE Undergrad Advisor to schedule an appointment to review your status. Please note: if your application is turned in after the three quarter deadline you may not be eligible to graduate the quarter in which you planned.

Students who have applied to graduate will receive further details from the College of Engineering early in the quarter that they are scheduled to receive their degree. This will include information on the ceremony itself, as well as attire that you will need should you participate.

Minor

If you have completed a minor, an approved minor form must be submitted to the MSE Academic Advisor at least one quarter before the graduation quarter.

Notes: Some departments have their own minor forms. Please consult your minor department's advisor. General Business minor form does not require Minor Program Signature.

Holds

It is critical that you remove any hold from your university account. You will not receive your diploma if you have any financial obligations left to the university. These can include, but are not limited to, tuition payments, exit interviews, library fines, parking tickets, etc. If these are not taken care of, the university will not release your diploma or your transcripts to you or future employers.

Exit surveys

We want to hear from you! Please complete two exit surveys, one for Engineering Career Services and one for our department. Please contact the MSE Academic Advisor for details.
