Seminar and guest speakers in MSE

MSE 795, Graduate Seminar and Colloquium, is a discussion of current thesis problems, outstanding current literature, and related topics. Speakers include invited guests and our own Ph.D. students who offer insight into state-of-the-art research occurring in the discipline.

Additionally, guests present talks outside of MSE 795 proper. All talks listed below are part of the MSE 795 series unless otherwise noted.

Summer 2009

MSE 795, Graduate Seminar and Colloquium, is not offered during Summer Quarters. However, OSU students, employees, and the public are welcome to attend any of the following talks given during Summer 2009.

  • Speakers: any dates between 6/22 and 9/22 are available during normal business hours aside from those listed below. Please contact Mark Cooper, Graduate Studies Coordinator to determine time and available location.

Friday, July 3: Independence Day Holiday observed--no classes, offices closed

Monday, August 3, 10:00-11:00am, 395 Watts Hall: Ed Herderick, PhD Candidate advised by Dr. Nitin Padture.

Monday, September 7: Labor Day Holiday--offices closed
